Michele Whitehead is Senior Manager of Client Services at Berkshire Associates. In her position, Michele is responsible for overseeing, developing, and implementing training related to affirmative action and human resources management. From concept to implementation, Michele is involved in every aspect of Berkshire’s consulting services; ensuring clients receive the support they need to meet their unique goals. With 20 years in the human resource industry, Michele is an expert in HR practices and procedures. This experience allows her to provide leading customized solutions on a variety of human resource issues that surface in all types of business. Michele works with clients of all sizes and industries, analyzing workforce metrics specifically in regards to staffing and compensation. She has conducted detailed availability studies, as well as adverse impact analyses with regards to hiring, promotions, reductions in force, and distribution of bonuses and merit increases. Michele also plays an active role in the training program design and implementation at Berkshire. She is responsible for developing and presenting training sessions to educate clients on the latest affirmative action, applicant management, compensation, and workforce analysis topics and trends. As a seasoned trainer, Michele effectively coaches her audience on practical procedures that assist them in running an effective and compliant HR department. Michele has an engaging training style that captures her audience’s attention. She has a true passion for educating fellow HR professionals, which is why she is an active speaker throughout the country each year at conferences and meetings including the Society for Human Resource Management’s (SHRM) Talent Management and Annual conferences. Prior to joining Berkshire, Michele worked as a Human Resources Generalist where she worked with various types of organizations including IT companies, manufacturers, retailers, and non-profit organizations. Her educational background includes a Masters of Business Administration in Human Resource Management and Management Skills from New York State University at Buffalo. Michele holds both SPHR and SHRM-SCP Certification and is a member of the national Society for Human Resource Management.
