Debra Milstein Gardner has over 36 years of experience in the human resources field. In 1990, she founded Workplace Dynamics LLC, a consulting firm specializing in human resources compliance solutions in the areas of affirmative action and equal employment opportunity.
Prior to starting Workplace Dynamics, Ms. Gardner worked for Marriott Corporation for 9 years as a specialist in the areas of equal employment opportunity and affirmative action as well as gained human resources generalist experience working in a food service operations division as Director, National Employment and Compliance. She began her career working for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) as an investigator and a field operations auditor.
Ms. Gardner holds a BS in Counseling from the University of Maryland. Ms. Gardner authored the 10th edition of the Affirmative Action Profile and co-authored the Diversity and Inclusion Profile for ELLA® (Employment Labor Law Audit). She has also been published in The OFCCP Digest, Baltimore and Washington Business Journals, BLR.com, and BusinessInsurance.com on employment related issues. Debra is the Co-chair of the Baltimore Industry Liaison Group, and a member of the Maryland Association of Affirmative Action Officers and SHRM.
